An opportunity has arisen for us to employ a full-time (with an option of flexible working for the right person) Brand Relationship Coordinator, to oversee the implementation of key Commercial Partnership projects in the UK.
We’re looking for someone who will work with skateboard brands and other commercial partners to deliver partnership activations, as well as with the SBGB communications team to create engaging content to promote brands alongside SBGB to engage with the skateboard community.
You will need a good understanding of skateboard brands and other commercial partners within the Action Sports environment, in order to build the best relationships and network with the right people to ensure flourishing partnerships that benefit the brands, SBGB and skateboarding.
Key Purpose of Role
- To oversee the implementation of key Commercial Partnership projects in the UK.
- To work with colleagues to create engaging content to promote brands alongside SBGB to engage with the skateboard community.
- To deliver partnership activations.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Activation Coordination (40% time)
- Work as the main point of contact for our partner brands, taking responsibility for ensuring successful delivery of those partnership deliverables.
- Lead the events programme attached to partnership / sponsorship, managing and delivering them to an agreed level with internal team approval and delivery.
- Align with the social media team and community teams on cross over projects that require their involvement to ensure brands are visible to the public
Key Account Management (40% time)
- Manage internal and external enquiries on existing or new partnership matters.
- Support in the delivery of partnership obligations, which could include products, branding and signage logistics.
- Ensure clear communication and reporting throughout the partnership development process to allow collaboration with SBGB team members and ensure opportunities for growth are recognised.
- Create monthly reports for each partner brands, to display successes and planning for the future
- Create monthly analytics reports for social media channels, website and any press coverage.
Business Development (20% time)
- Create content and case-studies to showcase our partnerships and increase in-bound opportunities.
- Identify new partner opportunities through outreach to brands and developing existing conversations.
- Attend industry shows, conferences and networking events representing SBGB
Skills and Experience Required
Essential selection criteria
- Relevant commercial / brand or sponsorship experience.
- Experience, passion and understanding of skateboarding.
- Knowledge of skateboard brands in the UK.
- Excellent inter-personal skills, written and verbal.
- Experience with marketing and social media (and reporting of analytics).
- Experience in managing successful sports related events/projects.
- Ability to deliver to agreed outcomes.
- Experience of maintaining partnerships with different stakeholders
- Ability to project manage commercial and sponsorship programs that deliver against agreed deliverables that align to the agreed budgets.
- IT experience.
- A shared belief in the core values of Skateboard GB.
- Full Clean UK Driving license, with access to a car or preparedness to travel utilizing public transport.
Desirable selection criteria
- Knowledge of sports development pathways
- Knowledge and experience of sector kitemarks
- Awareness of risk assessments, health and safety & safeguarding issues within a sporting environment and events

Essential Information
Duration
Full-time (with option to be part-time for the right person, not less than 3-days a week). Fixed Contract to 30th May 2026.
Remuneration
£30,000 (pro-rata if part-time) / Workplace pension contribution / 25 days holiday per year plus statutory days.
Hours of Work
37-hour week which represents full-time hours. Flexibility is required to work evenings and weekends.
Base
Working from Home, with national travel.
Requirements
Full clean UK driving licence and own vehicle (a mileage allowance will be paid)
