City Mill Skateboarding Festival will transform the City Mill Pool Street Skate Space 🌾 into a vibrant hub of skateboarding culture, community engagement, and lots of shredding
On Friday 17th, @esthersayers is hosting discussions about the development of skateboarding and its social aspect during academic talks at @ucl (details + RSVP available soon).
On Saturday 18th, the day will start with yoga for skaters at 9 am 🧘♂️, followed by a 10 am Meet-Up presented by @clown_skateboards and @weareinaction_cic with some BIG-name coaching!
We promise they are the kindest and hottest skateboarders we could find
Open to ALL genders, ages, and levels, this is a SAFE SPACE ! If you are part of the skate community and want to take part, let us know .
At 12 pm, a small skate market will open, featuring local artists, independent brands, art workshops, food, skate demos, and LOTS OF CASH FOR BEST TRICKS. Come, shred, and get paid [equal prizes for all don't be shy!].
The festival will collaborate with the Raemers Foundation with an art and well-being workshop 📚✍️. We will also raise funds with a raffle featuring crazy good prizes
To top it off, at 6 pm we have an exclusive selection of skateboarding films at the UCL cinema, which is a 2 minute walk from the park!
