What is it?
This event will explore the intersection of skate culture, social advocacy, and the powerful contributions of Black and Brown communities to the evolution of skateboarding. We aim to highlight the often-overlooked legacies of these communities and create a platform for their voices, stories, and impact to be recognised and celebrated. and the opportunity to purchase our first edition of Tales of the Underdogs zine. It will be an evening of community-building, storytelling, and celebration focused on the legacies of skaters of colour and their significant influence on contemporary skate culture.
