Skateboard GB National Team compete in Argentina
We are pleased to announce that all 8 members of the Skateboard GB National Park Team will compete at the World Skate Park Pro Tour 2023 next week in Argentina.
The competition will take place between May 21st to May 28th in San Juan, Argentina at Pocito Skatepark, where the team will compete against the best skateboarders around the world for crucial Olympic qualification points.
Earlier this year Sky Brown (14), took the gold medal at the World Championships Skateboard Park competition in Sharjah, UAE today in the first Olympic qualifying event for Paris 2024. While team-mate, Lolo Tambling (14), finished in 8th place after a sensational journey from the heats through to her first ever finals at an international event.
Sky and Lola will be joined by team mates Andy Macdonald, Jesse Thomas, Tommy Calvert, Lilly Strachan, George O’Neill, Bombette Martin, Tay Cunningham and Sam Beckett.
This is an exciting opportunity for the Skateboard GB National Park Team to compete again on the international stage. We wish them all the best of luck.
