1. Application Form
– To include personal details , aspirations and previous comp history

2. Trick Standards & Highlight Reel
– Up to a 90 second clip including the trick standards and then showcasing wider skateboarding trick bag as Youtube, Dropbox, WeTransfer, Reel.

 3. 45 Second line
– 45 sec line at a park of your choosing, considering of World Skate judging Criteria and considering of Skateboard GB Pipeline Trick Standards, as Youtube, Dropbox, WeTransfer, Reel.

APPLICATION PROCESS

1. Application Form

Skaters must complete their details on the application form.

  • Aspirations

Skateboarders to provide us with an understanding of why you’d like to apply for the Pipeline. Please include information about how often and where you currently skate, your long and short term skateboarding goals and how, if you’re accepted, you will demonstrate a commitment to your progression.

  • Previous Competition Experiences

Skateboarders to provide us with any recent competition experiences including name of event, location and any position.

  • Discipline (select women’s park, women’s street, men’s park, men’s street)

 

2. Trick Eligibility Standards Evidence & Highlight Reel – max 90 secs

Skateboarders are to provide us with a video demonstrating how they meet all of the ‘Trick Standards’ for their chosen discipline.

Using the remaining time please also provide us a highlight reel of your best tricks

Submit as Youtube, Dropbox, WeTransfer, Reel and provide us with the link

 

3. 45 Second Line

Skateboarders are to provide us with a 45 sec line in their chosen discipline at a park of their choosing

Lines will be evaluated according to the World Skate Judging Criteria:

  • Difficulty of Performed Tricks
  • Variety of Performed Tricks
  • Quality of Trick Execution and Landing
  • Use of the Course and Individual Obstacles
  • Consistency of the performance
  • Flow of the performance
  • Repetition within the performance

Skateboarders should try and demonstrate the trick standards within their lines where they can

Video should be unedited, and angle and quality must clearly show the whole run

The most preferred method when providing the video submissions is to upload to YouTube and send us a link. We will also accept other video platform links e.g. insta reel, vimeo or files via dropbox.

 

There are very limited spaces as we continue to deliver in the current Hubs and therefore, we expect there to be many more skaters applying than there are places. As the programme grows, there’ll be more opportunities for skateboarders across the UK.

Skateboarders who are not successful through the initial application process will be offered the opportunity to re-apply in 2026

STREET TRICK STANDARDS

WOMEN’S
The Skateboarder must demonstrate the following on a downrail rail typically found in a skatepark (rails on a driveway, kicker to rail and rails on flatground will not be considered)

  • A variety of slides performed in both frontside and backside
  • A frontside OR backside grind

MENS
The Skateboarder must demonstrate the following on a downrail or hubba ledge typically found in a skatepark (rails/ ledges on a driveway, kicker to rail/ledge, and rails and ledges on flat ground will not be considered):

  • One grind AND one slide which include a trick (e.g spin, shuvit or flip variation) into or out of the grind or slide.
  • One grind OR slide in switch or nollie stance.

 

PARK TRICK STANDARDS

WOMEN’S
The Skateboarder must demonstrate the following on 6ft+ high transitioned ramp or on flow bowl feature (including but not limited to corner walls, hips, volcanoes, spines, jump boxes):

  • A frontside AND backside air with their board and body above the ramps coping (early grabs will not be considered)
  • A variety of frontside AND backside grinds using only one truck
  • One frontside OR backside slide
  • One spin variation above 180 degrees with or without grab

 

MENS
The Skateboarder must demonstrate on 6ft+ high transitioned ramp or on flow bowl feature (including but not limited to corner walls, hips, volcanoes, spines, jump boxes):

  • A variety of frontside AND backside grinds using only one truck
  • A variety of frontside AND backside slides
  • One 360-degree or above spin variation with or without grab
  • One flip OR shuv-it variation with or without a grab
