Skateboard GB appoints three new Independent NonExecutive Directors to its Board
Skateboard GB is pleased to announce the appointment of three new Independent NonExecutive Directors (INEDs) to its board, strengthening the organisation’s governance, expertise and strategic leadership.
The new appointments are:
- Marta Phillips OBE – Senior Independent NonExecutive Director
- Natalie Dunman – Independent NonExecutive Director (Performance)
- Sarah Mortiboys – Independent NonExecutive Director
Sarah Mortiboys joins the Board with extensive executive experience across the sporting landscape, including senior roles at Wesport Active Partnership, Bristol Sport Foundation, Premiership Rugby, Dallaglio Rugby Works and Comic Relief. She has led large teams, complex partnerships and multi‑million‑pound programmes, and currently serves as Senior Independent Director for Access Sport, a national inclusion charity. Sarah is widely recognised for her ability to unite stakeholders and for her belief in the power of sport to deliver meaningful social impact.
Marta Phillips OBE brings over 40 years of finance and management experience, including two decades as a civil servant and senior civil servant. A Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, Marta has developed a portfolio career across social housing, higher education, health and the wider public sector. Her non‑executive work has supported organisations to deliver high‑quality outcomes while remaining commercially sustainable. Marta was awarded an OBE in the 2006 New Year’s Honours List.
Natalie Dunman is the BBSA’s Executive Performance Director, leading British Bobsleigh and British Skeleton towards the 2026 Olympic Winter Games and guiding both programmes to double gold in Milan Cortina. A senior leader in UK high‑performance sport since 2003, she previously headed British Skeleton and served as UK Sport’s Head of Performance Pathways, following earlier work as Lead Talent Scientist at the English Institute of Sport. Her expertise spans high‑performing team leadership, long‑term performance strategy, and world‑class talent identification and development.
