Skateboarder Sky Brown, takes BRONZE at the Paris 2024 Olympics

Team GB skateboarder, Sky Brown (16), took 3rd place at the Olympic Skateboard Park competition in Tokyo on Tuesday 6th August  2024 in Paris France, becoming the only British skateboarder to win medals at consecutive games

Sky laid down her best competition runs of her career on Tuesday afternoon to give her a high score of 92.31 and putting her firmly into the bronze position.

Sky had previously powered through the prelims earlier in the day finishing 4th overall, which meant that she was the last person to take her run in the finals.

Fellow Team GB skateboarder, Lola Tambling, also competed in the same event, with an excellent performance in the prelims, finishing in 15th place.

James Hope-Gill, CEO at Skateboard GB, said “We are hugely proud of Sky’s achievement. She has amazed us all and has continued to get better and better throughout the Olympic qualifying season. This is her second Olympics and she has proved that she is one of the best in the world”.

Sky was joined by her fellow team mate Andy Macdonald, who competes in the men’s Skateboard Park event on the 7th August 2024.

The events took place at the Urban Park at Place de la Concorde in Paris.
