It is with regret that Skateboard England have announced that Jerome Campbell has resigned as of 15th March 2018 as a Board Member of the organisation, due to other commitments.
In his resignation letter Jerome said, “Firstly I just want to say a huge thank you to you for being so committed to Skateboard England, aware it’s not an easy world to exist in, but, what you guys have done to date has genuinely had a brilliant impact. I’m aware that being a director requires a certain amount of commitment and unfortunately, this is something I don’t have the capacity to give to the Board right now, and as a direct result, I think it’s better for me to step down.”
Jerome will be a big loss to Skateboard England as he was integral to the organisation and gave well balanced and thoughtful advice during his tenure.
Everyone at Skateboard England wishes him well in the future and thanks him for his fantastic contribution.
As a result, there will be the opportunity for another Board Member to be elected at the Annual General Meeting to be held in September 2018. More details on the nomination process will be communicated to members in due course.
Note: Whilst Jerome’s profile has remained on the website, he has had no input to any of the work done or proposed to be done by Skateboard England since his date of resignation.
