We are looking for a Digital Engagement Officer to join our team. Skateboard England has a unique and exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to join to a small, friendly team, working on developing skateboarding.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for skateboarding and proven experience and a strong track record of working in digital executions. They will also be able to provide compelling ideas and gather insight in order to shape a wide range of digital solutions as we look to engage with our various stakehold
You will be responsible for shaping, delivering, supporting and monitoring the creation of a Digital Content Hub designed to reach, engage and provide an information service to skateboarders and those who might want to start skateboarding.
The functionality of the Hub will be shaped by the needs of skateboarders so you must have an understanding of skateboarding culture and be passionate about the sport, which will enable you to gather insight and support for the project. An ability to collaborate with external partners and advocate on behalf of the organisation is therefore essential.
You will have worked with developers/ agencies previously and can manage supplier relationships.
You will also use your passion and experience to engage with the skateboarding community through social media platforms as we look to raise the profile of Skateboard England within the sport
This is a home-based role with some national travel. A full driving license is essential.
Initially this full time position is for a twelve-month period with the possibility of a permanent role dependent on the success of the project.
