Skateboarding’s International Federation World Skate is excited to announce the third edition of the World Skate Games, which will take place in Buenos Aires and San Juan Argentina from the 24th October to the 13th November 2022.

The Games will feature Vert, Slalom and Downhill for World Champion Titles. The following places are available for British Athletes:
Competition Information and Quotas
The World Skate Games includes 4 skateboarding disciplines, with the following quota places allocated to Skateboard GB:
Downhill and Street Luge
8th – 12th November
Dique Punta Negra, San Juan
Quota places: 8 per gender (Men’s team a maximum of 6 may be from one discipline and in the Women’s team all 8 can be from one discipline)
Slalom
27th October – 1st November
San Juan
Quota places: 3 per gender, and anyone who is in top 20 of the Slalom World Ranking
Vert
25th – 31st October
Buenos Aires, Puerto Madero
Quote places: 12 per gender
Applications and Selection
Skateboarders who can demonstrate results at UK and International Downhill, Slalom, Street Luge or Vert competitions (must be specific to the discipline) over the last 5 years are invited to to apply for selection consideration, upon meeting the following criteria:
- Be a British Citizen and hold a British Passport.
- Be compliant with and complete any necessary WADA Anti-Doping education.
- Be a member of Skateboard GB.
In the event that more skateboarders apply than there are quota places available, the Skateboard GB selection panel will consider the submitted competition results to inform their final selection decisions.
The deadline for application is the 15th August 2022 (at midnight).
Skateboarders will be notified of the selection by the 21st August 2022.
Entry Fee and Costs
Skateboarders traveling to the World Skate Games will be required to cover all costs associated with the event. Including competition entry fee, travel and accommodation.
