Marta Phillips OBE

Marta is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. She has over 40 years of finance and management experience, with significant experience in the public sector, having been a civil servant since 1993, and a senior civil servant from 2000 until 2013.

Over recent years Marta developed a portfolio career and brought non-executive board experience to a number of organisations in social housing, higher education, health and the wider public sector, assisting these organisations in delivering quality outcomes while being commercially sustainable.

Marta read BA (Hons) Economics and Accounting and MSc Computing Science at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. She was awarded an OBE in the 2006 New Year’s Honours List.
