Job Opportunity – Competition & Events Manager

We are expanding. An opportunity has arisen for us to employ a Competition & Events Manager, to shape, support and deliver a new skateboarding competition structure in the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced event manager who has an understanding of and passion for skateboarding. The role will suit a highly driven, competent and innovative individual with a successful background in setting up, operating and managing competitions and events.

We are looking for an exceptional individual who is:

·                   Enthusiastic and passionate about skateboarding.

·                   Has strong interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills

·                   Is self-motivated and able to prioritise tasks.

·                   Must be able to work on own initiative, and have excellent organisational & planning skills.

The role is home-based and will involve considerable travel across the UK. Consequently, a full clean UK driving licence and access to a car are essential, as is the availability to work flexibly including regular evenings and weekends throughout the year. The successful candidate will also be required to undertake a DBS check upon offer of the role.

Salary: £30,000

Location: UK, Home-based
